Good morning Wrangler Fans, Another update on our basketball games: The rest of the Fremont Co. schools are not going to send their girls basketball teams north to Cowley/Powell, so we will follow suit and cancel the girls trip to Rocky Mountain. The boys basketball games @ Thermopolis are still a go, and as of the immediate moment (8:50am) the JH/Y boys basketball games tomorrow are still a go. Have a great day and stay tuned for possible changes.

Good morning Wrangler Fans, Due the to the forecasted sub-zero temperatures and near -30 wind chills, Sheridan County School District is not allowing their buses to travel tomorrow (Friday, January 12, 2024). Therefore, the HS basketball games vs Tongue River scheduled for tomorrow are canceled. We will work with them to try to schedule a make-up date.

I am delighted to nominate Elizabeth McFarland as the Shoshoni Elementary School Student of the Week. Ellie epitomizes what it means to be a kind, caring, and responsible Wrangler. When things need to be done in the classroom, Ellie takes it upon herself to complete tasks without being asked. She then checks in with me to see if there are any more jobs to be done. In addition, Ellie is a conscientious and hardworking student, making sure she has completed her daily work correctly and often works ahead as allowed. She is an avid reader, a terrific writer, and a fantastic mathematician. Congratulations, Ellie! It is an honor to know and teach you! Mrs. Engelbrecht, 3rd Grade teacher
