The parents or guardians can complete the form to have them added to the list. We will accept names until October 30th.   You will complete the Google Form to sign up this year. Once you receive your substitute permit, please apply for the substitute position at www.shoshonischools.org.

Are you interested in substitute teaching?  You must hold a substitute teacher license through PTSB and pass a background check.   The next Fremont County Boces class will be December 2-4, 2025. These classes fill up, so sign up soon!   Do you need more information on what this looks like at Shoshoni Schools?   We pay subs: $150 Monday-Thursday 7:40-3:40 $135 Friday 7:40-1:40  You can decide if you want to work through the entire school or if you would like to only substitute in the Elementary or Secondary.   You get to pick the days you work. You can set up days that you are unavailable so you aren’t notified.   Once you have your license, please complete an application at www.shoshonischools.org  If you are interested or have more questions, contact  Kay Keen at 307-240-2266 Ext 118.
Substitute Teacher Paths Option 1 College Credit Path  Complete at least 60 semester hours or an associate’s degree from an accredited college/university. Successfully complete the US and Wyoming Constitution exams or proof of college course. Submit fingerprints and receive a clear background check Submit a complete application packet for a Wyoming Educator Permit Option 2 Alternative Path - Fremont County Boces Hold a high school diploma or GED Complete at least 24 hours of school district in-service training Complete at least 30 hours of classroom observation (10 hours must be completed at EACH level: elementary, junior high/middle, and high school.) Successfully complete the US and Wyoming Constitution exams Submit a complete application packet for a Wyoming Educator Permit to PTSB Applications and questions with licensing can be directed to PTSB at www.wyomingptsb.com.
