After a looooong day of presenting, our FBLA students are ALMOST done with all of their events at the State Leadership Conference! With just a handful of events left to compete in tomorrow (Friday), our students are eagerly awaiting the closing session to see who qualifies for Nationals in San Antonio! In the mean time, some of the presentation events that were held today were competitive enough to need a second round, and the finalists for those competitions were announced this evening. Please congratulate these students on making it to finals, and wish them and the rest of our competitors good luck in their events tomorrow morning! We are so incredibly proud of every one of our members, and can't wait to celebrate them all at the closing session tomorrow afternoon!
Please give some HUGE congratulations to the Shoshoni HS FBLA chapter! We traveled to Laramie with 19 competitors this week, and they all absolutely ROCKED IT. We kicked off the week with opening session, where our kids played Heads Up with the State FBLA President, did some team bonding at dinners, movie night, and bowling, and of course worked extremely hard to put our best foot forward in our competitive events. We found out tonight what the results of all of that hard work were:

Shoshoni FBLA headed to Laramie for the State Leadership Conference today! We learned about which of our students qualified for finals in role play events tonight, and we are so excited to announce that every single one of our students who competed in a role play event qualified for finals! 2026 Career Day - Tomorrow, March 13, will be Career Day for all high school students. This event will involve over 40 different careers, business, colleges, military representatives, and resources for students. Students were given the opportunity to request which sessions they would like to attend and will have a schedule for the day. We truly appreciate all of the community partners that have volunteered their time to make this possible. What an amazing opportunity for our high school students!

Annual Consolidated Grant Meeting
The 3rd grade class had a really neat opportunity in STEAM to tie their engineer learning in with a real-world expert, Engineer Mrs. Jessica Klein from the NRCS. Students were given the challenge to construct a way for animals to safely cross a busy road way-- a real world problem!
Students engaged in deep thinking, analyzing various viewpoints, and teamwork throughout their entire time of tackling the engineering design process.
