Hello Wrangler Fans, High School winter sports are off and running!! The HS basketball teams started their seasons strong with a clean sweep on Saturday and the HS wrestlers had a great showing against 4A schools in Evanston and Green River. This is the final week of the 1st semester and we need some help on Friday for our home quad this is replacing the Wrangler Invite. FCSD#24 is accepting applications for a Youth Boys Basketball Coach for this year's season. Season runs Jan-Feb with first practice starting December 14. Apply online at shoshonischools.org (Menu>Employment) or https://www.applitrack.com/fremont24/onlineapp/ Applicants must be certified to coach or able to obtain a Transitional Coaching Permit through the Professional Teaching Standards Board. Hello Wrangler Fans, The Wyo. Health Dept. has limited indoor gatherings to 100 people.  Shoshoni schools will get 70 spectators for home events and allow 30 for the visiting team.  To manage numbers and allow family members to watch games, each athlete will be allowed 2 spectators.  Athletes must give their 2 names to the coach by lunch on Wednesday.  Any remaining seats will then be given to seniors, then juniors, then sophomores and finally freshmen.  We will clear the gym after each game.  Masks must be worn at all times while in the building.  Concessions will be sold but food and drink are not allowed in the gyms, please enjoy your concessions in the commons where you can watch the game on the big screen TV’s. Thank you to so many of you that have grabbed tags off the tree! The tags are all GONE! We were able to provide 2 gifts for each of the 76 kids we had on our tree. Through some generous monetary donations, we are still working on hats, gloves and coats that we were not originally going to purchase. There still may be a need, if you didn't make it to grab a tag. A friendly reminder for all of our Wrangler family. We currently have 49 students and 2 staff members out of the building do to close contacts or testing positive for COVID-19. Our goal is to make through the school year with out closing our doors. Please help us achieve our goal by masking up, taking care of yourself, and social distancing.

Hello Wrangler Fans, As always, it was a great week to be a Wrangler Fan. The youth and junior high girls basketball teams competed very well and the junior high/youth wrestling triangular ran smoothly. This week features home games for JH/Y girls basketball and an opportunity for JH/Y wrestlers to show their mettle against bigger schools. The concession stand is available on Saturday for 4 basketball games!!
