JH and Y girls basketball finish their seasons this week and HS basketball and wrestling will have their first contests at the end of next week. Thank you to so many of you that have grabbed tags off the tree! The tags are all GONE! We were able to provide 2 gifts for each of the 76 kids we had on our tree. Through some generous monetary donations, we are still working on hats, gloves and coats that we were not originally going to purchase. There still may be a need, if you didn't make it to grab a tag. Hello Wrangler Fans, As always, it was a great week to be a Wrangler Fan. The youth and junior high girls basketball teams competed very well and the junior high/youth wrestling triangular ran smoothly. This week features home games for JH/Y girls basketball and an opportunity for JH/Y wrestlers to show their mettle against bigger schools. The concession stand is available on Saturday for 4 basketball games!! Hello Wrangler Fans, It was a great week to be a Wrangler Fan!! HS volleyball got to the state semifinals and went toe-to-toe and point for point with the eventual State Champions, and then fell just short in the 3rd place game, going to 5 sets. It was a great season for the Lady Blue, please congratulate the players and coaches. HS football gave it their all in the semifinals before falling short to the #1 team in the state. Wrangler football finished 7-3 on the season and represented our community well. Please congratulate the players and coaches on a great season. JH/Y wrestling has their last home event this Saturday, please come support the Wranglers! The Youth girls basketball team has a home game on Thursday and would love your support in the gym! The JH girls are on the road for both games this week. Shoshoni Schools were notified of two positive COVID-19 cases this morning within our non-teaching staff. The Fremont County Health Office and administration is currently working through contact tracing to determine if there is any further exposure to our school population. Our processes and protocols with masking, recognition of symptoms, and temp checking has helped to curb the number of occurrences in the district. Please remain diligent in helping our cause to keep our schools open by following the Wyoming Health Department guidelines. The affected areas have been deep cleaned to further mitigate and minimize the opportunity of the spread of COVID-19. It is imperative that we remain diligent in following our processes and protocols to ensure the safety of all and our ability to keep our schools open.

Tags are currently available and more will be added through this week. If our community support is as strong as last year, we will offer coats and gloves/hats tags later in the month. Thank you for your support of our Wrangler families!

Fremont County BOCES is offering a Substitute Teacher Certification Class on Monday, December 7 - December 10 from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm in the Round Room, 320 W. Main in Riverton. Due to COVID-19 the class will be limited to 20 participants. Students must register for the class with Fremont County BOCES and pay the $150 fee.
