Further, to oversee and administer the use of all District facilities, property, and funds with a maximum of efficiency, a minimum of waste, and an ever-present, overriding awareness of and concern for their impact upon each individual student's education

Goals - To direct the Special Education Department in such a manner to ensure quality programs to meet the needs of students. To act under the general direction of the Superintendent of Schools. To coordinate, organize, and perform assigned and related duties dealing with special education programs, federal projects, and other areas as directed. To assist in providing for students who are identified as having a disability by ensuring legal requirements (as per I.D.E.A. and Reauthorization of 1997) are met and accurately documented.
